Xposed framework seems to be on everyone’s mind as of late. The simple and easy to use almost modular capabilities of this opens an endless realm of possibilities for people who like to mod ROMs but who hate getting down and dirty, opening them up. It also saves a big deal of time (and data), as there is no new ROM to download. If there is a particular feature that you want to have and a mod for it exists, it is just a matter of applying it and boom! You get whatever it is you intended to have on your device without even having to go into Recovery.

In this particular case, XDA Forum Member ruqqq, who is responsible for other xposed mods such as XThemeEngine brings us an easy way to get the infamous Facebook Home onto any Android device. There are various ports for Facebook Home and even many devs who have baked it in ROMs, so the novelty here is not the fact that this UI can be installed on devices, but rather the method by which it can be done. As an added advantage over other conventional methods, since the original APK must be resigned in order to work for other devices, if there are any updates, you would normally have to do this yourself or wait for your favorite dev to provide you with a new hacked version. Xposed does not require this, which means that updates can be readily applied without having to do much, if anything at all.

As it is the case with all Xposed mods, the only real requirement is that you must have Xposed framework installed on your device. Other than that, you should have no issues and are essentially ready to go as soon as new updates roll out of Zuckerbergland. Please leave any feedback you may have regarding the mod. Bug reports, as always, are welcome.

This Xposed Mod will allow you to use Facebook Home on unsupported devices. You’ll need to install Xposed Framework to use this Mod. Works on Odexed ROMS. No need to flash zips and get messy.
